Parineeta Cecil Lakra is Country People and Culture Manager, IKEA India. She has an extensive experience in Human Resources of over 19 years mostly in the Retail Industry. As part of her experience, Parineeta has led HR from the front, whether it is leading units or setting up new functions in new companies.

 

She has been a part of IKEA India’s start up journey since 2014, contributing to & delivering to the People Strategy, setting up of the People & Culture function, developing and growing teams, leading a global transformation, and strengthening the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion agenda for IKEA India.

 

Parineeta’s motivation and passion is to grow, build& contribute to a brand that has kept people at the heart of everything. She strongly identifies with IKEA’s vision, culture that is rooted in its values and its commitment to doing responsible business while being people and planet positive.

 

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, travelling, and spending time outdoors with her husband and dogs. When possible, she finds time to go scuba dive and is a certified advanced open water diver. She lives in Bangalore, India with her family.
