THEME
In 2021 we introduced the concept of an Equiverse - an Universe where equity is the norm. The Universe progressed over the decades and the prosperity that came from this progress was phenomenal. But unfortunately, the growth has not been balanced for all.
“Women, we know, are the first to be affected by war, and the last to be taken into account when it ends.”
says Angelina Jolie.
This is true for all other natural and man-made disasters. They have impacted women more adversely than men—be it their Work, Wealth, Well-being, or Welfare. We are calling these the 4W's.
How do we transform the universe to be more equitable - an Equiverse?
Our conference endeavors to provide a platform for leaders across sectors & regions, engaged in empowering women to come & share their insights. We hope it will lead to a deeper enquiry into the specific areas, fill data & information gaps, and encourage more research that can point to actions to increase the momentum of change to create a more sustainable world.
TalentNomics India is a not-for-profit organisation, dedicated to creating a strong pipeline of women leaders & supporting an ecosystem that enables women to progress and succeed. They have been trailblazing women's leadership development since 2015, with their pioneering Leadership learning programs for professional women.
The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung is a German political foundation driving regional and global prosperity. Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Japan's Regional Economic Programme Asia (SOPAS) focuses on sustainable growth and society 5.0, and in particular, on three strategic areas:
1. Advancing women leadership
2. Free trade and multilateralism, and
3. The future of work.
It brings together a network of policy makers, economists, political analysts and thought leaders across Asia to discuss emerging issues, propose policy alternatives and share best practices.

How can women be more productively engaged? Women, in spite of having the same levels of education as men, have lost out on employment and growth opportunities that would give them both voice and respect. Meaningful employment opportunities after career breaks could tap into the tremendous latent talent in the economy. Awareness around the issue has not led to action to solve the inequity. How can women with same education and talent build the same net worth as men? Women earn less for the same work, they have less control over their finances, they invest more on education and health of family members and are more likely to fall out of workforce or lose their jobs.
