Suhela is the Country Programme Manager for Women’s Economic Empowerment Programme at UN Women in India. She has an extensive experience in management of large-scale transformational programmes focussed on integrating feminist principles and strategies to advance women’s economic rights and opportunities.

 

Her expertise lies in the areas of programme development, management, implementation, measuring impact and partnership building.  She has worked extensively with Central and State Governments, private sector as well as civil society organizations. Suhela is a Ford Fellow and holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Michigan.
