For over eight years, Pallavi Agrawal has been committed to advancing gender equality and women’s rights in the areas of health, education, and labor. Her work spans roles across government and civil society, where she has implemented programs that promote women’s empowerment and create pathways for inclusive growth. With a foundation in Development Studies and Political Science, Pallavi combines her academic expertise with practical experience to tackle the complex challenges faced by women and girls.

 

Since 2022, Pallavi has contributed to the Women’s Empowerment agenda at UN Women. In her current role, she facilitates knowledge sharing to create a cohesive framework on women’s economic empowerment. Previously, she supported the Ministry of Women and Child Development on integrating gender across G20 platforms, and as a Program Officer at Room to Read India, she led initiatives that empower young girls with essential life skills for their future.
