Krishna Desai is a Civil Engineer- Planner with 10 years of experience in urban transport and planning. She started her career as a Consultant for CRISIL Risk and Infrastructure Solutions, and currently works as a Technical Advisor for the Sustainable Urban Mobility project at GIZ India. 

Krishna has a diverse background of working on the aspects of gender, urban transport, institutional frameworks and financial feasibility.  She has worked with several local and para statal agencies on matters related to urban development frameworks, gender reforms in urban transport, route rationalization, bus priority systems and non-motorized transport systems.
